Game of Thrones is probably the most addicting TV show ever created. I mean, where can you find a TV show set in a fantasy world with dozens of fascinating characters, incredible plot, superb acting and great production?

Game of Thrones is based on a book series created by George R.R. Martin, also known as THE genius. Okay, I’m kidding, but if you love good fantasy, A Song of Ice and Fire by George is probably one of the best fantasy book series ever created.

As for the show, it was created by HBO, and it was definitely a good choice, because they have enough money and talents to make this a great show, probably one of the best shows in TV history. There are currently three seasons (more info about the second season) of the show (the last one is going to end soon), and since there’s so much more to cover, I expect that these series will be still airing 5 years from now, maybe even 10 years. And that’s definitely a great thing, because the show needs many episodes to accurately portray events from the books.

As for the plot, it’s so complicated that it’s very difficult to explain it all in one post, but just to give you an idea, it’s set in a world with many houses and one king who rules them all. The king dies, some other important people die as well (we won’t spoil anything), and the war begins.

Yeah, I know, I sound like a 5-year old kid when I write “good”, “great”, “awesome” etc. without providing specific reasons why I love this show, but trust me – watch the first episode, and you’ll understand why.

If you want to watch Game of Thrones online, unfortunately it isn’t as easy as it should be. HBO doesn’t let Netflix offer Game of Thrones, so the only way to watch it online (besides for waiting a year before it’s released to Amazon.com, iTunes and other sites where you can buy it episode by episode) is to become a subscribe of a cable TV provider who has HBO in their offer and lets people watch it online.

Dual Survival is a reality TV show that airs on Discovery.
